The very first thing you need to do is to
complete your free registration with
AirlineHobby.com.
1) On the main page under Auction Categories, click on the desired section: Civil Slides,
Military Slides etc.
3) Scroll down the list and when you see an auction listing that is of interest, just click on it to
bring up all the details.
4) Click the "(view feedback on seller)" link to view other user's comments
on the seller. This feedback might influence your decision to bid, or might prompt you
to contact the seller to ask specific questions prior to bidding.
5) If you would like to bid, simply scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter your
User ID or Nickname, password and amount of your bid. Confirm your
Bid type (we recommend proxy
bidding) and then click the Review Bid button.
6) The review bid page will allow you to carefully review all the details
of your bid. If everything is in agreement simply click the submit bid at
the bottom of the page and your bid will be processed immediately. Click the link
back to the auction and you will be able to see whether or not you are the current
high bidder. If someone else's proxy bid is higher than your bid, they will still
show as the current high bidder.
7) Wait for the auction to close. The auction system will automatically send you
can e-mail message if you have been outbid by another member. If you have
been outbid, you can easily re-bid by clicking on the link back to the auction which is sent
with the e-mail notification.
8) When the auction closes, the system will notify you if you are
the high bidder. Contact the seller by email or telephone
(if provided) as soon as possible. You are contractually obligated to
pay the seller the amount you bid as per the terms set out in the auction.
Conversely, the seller is under contract to provide the goods to you as set out in the
auction.
